General
While the standard Fender FA-345CE electro-acoustic steel-string guitar already boasts impressive looks and sound, this limited FRS edition is the only model in the series that gets to boast an ovangkol soundboard. Other notable details are the FA Keystone sound hole rosette, tortoiseshell binding and viking-style bridge, finishing off the FA-345CE in subtle style.
The FA-345CE Auditorium: Versatile
The back and sides of the FA-345CE are made of lacewood which is not only easy to work with but helps keep the price of this guitar more than reasonable. It wasn't just chosen for its affordability either, since lacewood guitars produce substantial volume with well-defined lows. As a result, this Fender auditorium-sized electro-acoustic shapes great amplified tone, partly thanks to the addition of a Fishman preamplifier, making it versatile as well as good looking.
